Black Tie Optional

Basically, we have a preference for formal black tie, but no expectation whatsoever that you spend money to do so.

Gents, if you have a black or midnight navy tuxedo, wear that! If not, a dark suit is just fine.

Women, formal midi or cocktail dress. Equally, if you have black or midnight navy tuxedo, wear that! That sounds cool.

Gents again, if you would feel more comfortable in the formal midi or cocktail dress, that’s also fine. The word “Optional” is doing a lot of heavy lifting.
